Vintage Japanese negatives (batch 2, part 1)
Carrying on with my vintage Japanese negatives series here is the 1st part of batch 2. This batch contains a lot of negatives so will be posted in 2 parts. Sadly there are quite a few stuck in their glassine sleeves and some that have been damaged. Nevertheless I have decided to post the more interesting ones despite this as I think they are still worth viewing.
These also date from the mid 1930’s and are scanned and posted in the same order they were taken from their folder. Looking at them though it’s pretty obvious they weren’t shot in that order as they’re crazily random.
(You can click on an image to view it slightly larger and with a darker background if you prefer).
As you can see the negatives have been very tightly packed together for around 80 years. Unsurprisingly some have stuck in their glassine sleeves!!
I’d love to know what camera he’s using to get that low perspective shot?
